Inner Game and Outer Game

Written by admin on November 10th, 2008

Recently, I have come across the distinction between inner and outer game. So what is the difference?

Outer Game

Most of us are already familiar with this. This is all about having the right body language and using tactics such as lines or openers, learning how to look for indicators of attraction and how to close a set and get the number etc.

What experienced seducers say is that, even if you know all of these tactics, you may still have a lack of confidence. This is where inner game comes in.

Inner Game

It is natural to have some approach anxiety. But society has taught men to feel inferior to hot women. This is why many guys have no problem talking to “ugly” chicks. But in the presence of a “10″ they suddenly become a “choad” again.

The idea of inner game is that you develop inner confidence and happiness which women actually see as the most attractive trait in a man anyway.

RSD Blueprint

I recently came across this seminar by Tyler Durden. This chap and his company, RSD, are famous for inner game stuff (even though they originally started in outer game techniques).

Throughout this seminar, you learn various things about yourself and how you should be. Here are the main points summarised:

  • You are not lower than beautiful girls. You are on an equal level of “value”.
  • Social conditioning has led men to believe they are inferior and must “impress” a woman. Don’t follow the herd.
  • Don’t look for value in others and seek to take it. Instead, know that you have value yourself and seek to share it.
  • Don’t suck up to chicks by trying hard to amuse them. Instead, learn to amuse yourself in their presence.
  • Stop worrying about the past or the future. Live for the now as that is all that matters.
  • Stop watching too much TV and internet. Instead, create your own reality.
  • Have some plans for the future and know where you are going in life.

These are just some of the main points of RSD Blueprint. It’s quite an expensive purchase so I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone - better to sort out your outer game first, in my opinion.

This is because you can make changes to your outer game instantly and start practising. But your changing your inner game is a process that takes months and even years to fully sink in.
